Whether you are an Kelowna experienced home cook or are just beginning to discover the passion for home cooking, The Okanagan Cookery School with its cooking classes can help you take your cooking to the next level.

From hands-on classes to demonstration classes or to the The Secrets of Cookery demonstrations, the experience of the wineries professionally equipped cookery school and wide range of classes; ranging in length from a three-hour class with lunch or dinner and wine tasting included to a full day culinary experience will offer you a real cooking adventure.

All Okanagan cookery classes or demonstration cooking classes are geared to avid home cooks and food enthusiasts. All classes include printed recipe hand-outs and a generous “taste” of all dishes being prepared, followed by a three-course lunch or dinner and always plenty of wine tasting from one of the Okanagan intimate wineries, Hainle Organic Winery.

Which ever cookery class or cooking demonstration you are participating in you will receive a three-course meal experience, a wine tasting and all your knives, tools and equipment will be provided. All we need you to bring is your appetite for good food, good wine and a little fun.

In addition to our regular classes, The Okanagan Cookery School also offers private classes for groups of 6 to 40 persons and corporate team building classes. For these classes we build a class to suit your desired event and tailor the event to meet your budget and objectives.

Secrets of Cuisine Participation Classes

It’s a hands-on team-building experience at The Okanagan Cooking School.

Working in teams of two, prepare a 3-course menu featuring seasonal products and pair with wines from our winery that best compliments your menu. 

Our wine maker will judge the overall pairing.

Afterwards, sit down and enjoy a 3-course lunch or dinner in The Vine-Yard dining room, where our Chef and Winemaker will announce the winners and the team who get to take home the

distinguished wooden spoon!!!!!

Every team member receives a set of recipes, digital photographs and The Producers Cookery School memento.

For groups of six or more we will hold a private class at any time.

Day and Night classes are available.

I Cook…..You Eat, I Pour…..You Drink…..You Say What I Cook

Entertain your guests with a very different dinner experience with a few twists and turns.

Arrive and enjoy a private cellar tour with a cask tasting of an unreleased vintage. 

Accompanied with canapés.

Take your seat in our cookery school where our chefs will prepare ‘your’ selected menu in front of you in the form of a cookery class.

As we complete each course, you dine and wine.

We pour 4 distinctive variations from around B.C. to match your meal experience.
